Hello readers! I created this blog to provide a space where I can use my analytical mind and artistic heart to explore psychology and perspective through my lens, which was shaped by travel, pop culture, and engineering. As the younger sister of two engineering Ph.D.’s and a lawyer (no pressure), my desire to learn has always been fostered and encouraged, which led to my pursuit of a Ph.D. in Bioengineering. But art runs as deep in my veins as engineering. I have been painting and doodling for as long as I can remember and started dabbling in sculpture while in undergrad. My journey with photography started while traveling through Portugal. My Grandad (who is one my favorite people in history) was the first person who ever showed me it was OK to love art and engineering equally. While I have spent most of my life to this point studying engineering, I am now stretching my artistic limbs and sharing with all of you my point of view through essays and the accompanying photography. Some of my posts will be deeply personal and some of my posts will be my commentary on different aspects of society. Check out this website for new posts twice a month!
